Actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer… Jennifer Lopez is all this and much more. This successful artist, with a fortune of over 300 million dollars, is considered one of the most powerful Latinas of the moment. With 48 years, her curves and sensual movements in the dances continue to impress. Her jump to fame came in 1997, when she played Selena, in a biographical film for which she received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to receive more than a million dollars for acting in a movie. JLo has worked on more than 30 films and has recorded eight studio albums.
SALMA HAYEK (MEXICO)
Only three Latin American actresses have been nominated for an Oscar as best actress, among them, a Mexican sex symbol, one of the most prominent artists of that country, also profuse in superstars: Salma Hayek. Besides being an actress in all media, Salma is an entrepreneur and producer. Admired for her interpretation of multiple roles, she is very well remembered in that 2002’s Frida. Until today she has performed in over 50 films and among the honors received is the 2006 Artist of the Year Award by the Foundation of Harvard University.
SOFÍA VERGARA (COLOMBIA)
At address 7013 Boulevard Hollywood Sofia Vergara has her star on the Walk of Fame. This is the second Colombian celebrity to have the honor, preceded by Shakira. The charismatic woman is one of the best well-paid actresses on American television and is considered among the most sensual in the world. In 2014, Forbes magazine placed her in 32nd place among the 100 most powerful females.
EIZA GONZALES (MEXICO)
Actress and singer, Eiza has worked on seven films, although her most remembered roles have been on television, especially in the two seasons of the soap opera “Lola, once upon a time”. In addition, he worked for two years (2014-2016) in the hit series “From Dusk till Dawn: The Series”. Eiza has recorded two albums: “Contracorriente” [Cross-current] (2009) and “Te acordarás de mí” [You will remember me] (2012).
ANA DE ARMAS (CUBA)
We close with Cuba, where there are examples of authentically beautiful and talented women. Among them stands Ana de Armas, an actress who has managed to captivate Hollywood’s attention.
