Latin Americans sportswomen have reached the top of the Olympic podium in different occasions, most of them are worldwide champions and their names frequently appear on communications means´ headlines because of their excellent results in competitions all over the world; but, besides being outstanding in sports events, Latin American women have a special beauty that distinguish them from other athletes.
PanamericanWorld suggests getting to know four of these outstanding sportswomen, not only because of their performances as athletes, but also because of their sensuality.

PAOLA PLIEGO (FENCING, MEXICO)
This 23-year-old sportswoman is considered one of the most sensual Mexican athletes. Between 2014 and 2015, she has obtained her best results by winning the world championship in junior ranking and the bronze medal in the Panamerican Championship held in Santiago de Chile. In 2017, she succeeded in a local competition in Montreal, Canada.
Pliego found herself in a huge argument when she was positive in an anti-doping test in Mexico. That is why she was not able to participate in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, although she always defended her innocence. A second test in Colony, Germany proved she was right.
BIA Y BRANCA FERES (SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING, BRAZIL)
At the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the Bia and Branca Feres twins caused a really good impression. These two twenty-nine-year-old girls participated in the team tournament; apart from not getting a good result in the event, because they got the sixth position, they were talked about in many articles during the summer meeting because of their sensuality.
Bia and Branca combine their sports lives (bronze in the Panamerican Games 2007, as a couple they were finalists in Montreal and they won the golden medal in the United States in 2012) with their TV performances working in soap-operas of the mighty O´Globo and they have also been presenters in different shows for MTV and Fox Sports.
JAQUELINE CARVALHO (VOLLEYBALL, BRAZIL)
This player was a leader in the Brazilian Volleyball team. This team was the best during a decade all over the world. Carvalho has a large record of titles that includes two Olympic titles in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, and four other golden medals in Gran Prix.
Jaquelin, at the age of 33 and 1.86 meter tall, is one of the most outstanding personalities in the mass media in Brazil. She has worked as a model in different advertising campaigns.
MARIANA PAJÓN (BMX ROAD RACING, COLOMBIA)
Mariana Pajon is only 27 years old and became the first Colombian lady to get two Olympic titles, after she had shined in London 2012 and in Rio the Janeiro 2016. Besides, she has won 14 worldwide titles. She presently stands out not only in BMX, but also in track cycling where she obtained a gold medal in the Bolivarian games, in Cali 2017.
She is one of the most outstanding athletes in Latin America and she has worked for different campaigns such as Adidas.
