Jaime Penedo (born 26 September 1981) is a Panamanian football goalkeeper who is currently playing for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer.
Penedo holds a Spanish passport.
Penedo played in Panamá for Árabe Unido. In Guatemala for Municipal.
Penedo signed with the LA Galaxy on August 5, 2013. Penedo made his Galaxy debut on August 7, 2013 in a mid-season friendly againstAC Milan in the inaugural International Champions Cup.
He was a member of the Panamanian 2005 & 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup team, who finished second in both tournaments. He collected over 80 caps since making his debut in 2003 as a substitute for Francisco Portillo in a 1-0 win over Cuba. He won the 2009 UNCAF Nations Cup with Panama. Penedo won the golden glove at the 2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which is given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
