Eloy Antonio Camacho Vargas was born on December 30th, 1988 in the city of Moca in the Espaillat Province of Dominican Republic.
His mother Ana Luisa Vargas and his father Eloy Camacho Lantigua who passed away in 2010 had him and his three sisters Eloisa, Marleny and Hania in the Los Lopez neighborhood in the city of Moca.
Since his father's passing on November 9th, 2010 he always honors him through his social network profiles.
Through his participation in the minors category in the Don Bosco Clubs in Moca and in the junior Club Domingo Paulino in Santiago, Vargas obtained a scholarshipat American Heritage in Miami, Florida at the age of 15. He studied there until 2008 when he finished Highschool and went on to Miami Dade College 2009-2010. He then went to Kentucky University to play in the NCAA for the Wildcats where he stayed for two seasons making it to the finals in 2011 and Champion in 2012.
In 2012 he came to play for the Dominican National League (LNB), but he suffered an injury to his meniscus requiring surgery on October 2012 and after physical therapy of aproximately 8 months he went on to dispute the last two months of the season, anxious to get back in the game. He played for the New York Nicks Summer League averaging 5.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 15.8 minutes in five games.
He helped the Dominican National Team qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Championship 2014 in Spain, and has signed to play professional basketball for the Fuenlabrada team in Madrid, Spain.
