Posted by Miguel Ernesto on June 09, 2017

Several Latin American athletes have conquered the top of the Olympic podium, many of them are world champions and their names frequently make headlines because of their excellent performance in competitions around the world. However, beyond the sports field, the Latin American athletes feature a special beauty that make them stand out when surrounded by other colleagues.

PanamericanWorld proposes an approach to five spectacular athletes that have a lot of eyes on them, not only because of the sports performance, but also for the sensuality of their shape.

Bia and Branca Feres (Synchronized swimming, Brazil)

Twin sisters Bia and Branca Feres caught everybody’s eyes during the Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro. These 29-year-old girls participated in the synchronized swimming team tournament and, although they finished in the sixth position, the swimmers were included in numerous media reports, since they were labeled among the most sensual athletes of the event.

Bia and Branca combine their sports life in synchronized swimming (bronze medal in Rio Pan- Am Games 2007 and, as a duo, they went to the final of the Montreal World Championship and won the U.S. Open in 2012) with their work on television, where they have played roles in soap operas produced by powerful Rede O´Globo and they have been anchorwomen for different shows broadcasted by MTV.

Jaqueline Carvalho (Volleyball, Brazil)

This player led the Brazilian volleyball team that prevailed over other international teams during a decade. Carvalho’s career includes two Olympic crowns, Beijing 2008 and London 2012; four gold medals in Grand Prix and she was on the podium in three World Championships (silver in 2006 and 2010, and bronze in 2014).

Jaqueline, who is 33 years old and 1.86 meters tall, is one of the most popular media figures in Brazil and she has been the model of several advertising campaigns.

Mariana Pajon (BMX Cycling, Colombia

25-year-old Pajon became the first Colombian athlete to win two Olympic crowns: London 2012 and Rio 2016. She is one of the most renowned athletes in Latin America and has taken center stage in numerous advertising campaigns for such prestigious brands as Adidas (Unleash Your Creativity).

Thaísa Menezes (Volleyball, Brazil)

This great central defender in the Brazilian volleyball team is 1.96 meters tall and she has obtained important sports achievements, including two Olympic titles (Beijing 2008 and London 2012), two medals in world championships (silver in 2010 and bronze in 2014) and five Grand Prix crowns.

Her exposure as a volleyball player and spectacular body have turned out to be a perfect combination for Menezes to be a model in several advertising campaigns.

Rocío Miranda (Volleyball, Peru)

This athlete is 29 years old and she has been practicing volleyball since she was 10. She played for Peruvian clubs Universitario de Deportes and Divino Maestro, but she is internationally known for her work as a model and she has even posed naked for ESPN Magazine.
